I am honored to be the first one to review this book. I had read only one Jennifer McMahon before this, and I really enjoyed it. I salivated over the thought of having FIVE novels by her to read, and I was definitely not let down. She's writing by formula for sure. She found a good one, it works, she's stuck with it. I usually don't like that but her formula is so damn good that it's worth it. I'D stick with it to if I had found something that awesome. (I write books, les-fic mystery to date, others in the works.)The plots are laid out in the same manner but each one IS unique, the characters are always real and three-dimensional so honestly, this book was just like a damn awesome cheeseburger, thick and meaty and delicious, and I had a blast devouring one of each book each night. Thank god books don't have calories. This was delicious. I highly recommend this author, and I am a misanthrope who often doesn't like much but I did like this a great deal.
